Jeff Otah traded to the Jets

Last thing on Otah and this should be taken as a SERIOUS lesson learned... Probably the biggest one thing that we have learned about Rivera up to this point...

Remember back a few weeks ago... When Rivera talked about all of the O-Line and NEVER once even mentioned Otah... (open practices at BOA)

Well, from now on... We can pretty much know that when he doesn't mention a player... It's probably for a good damned reason! They're probably not in his plans...

This is the biggest thing I have taken from this... Other than the fact that he won't put up with whiners or mediocrity.

reading the jets messaage board they have a lot of faith in their doctors and trainers finding a diamond in the shitheap

It's the nature of being a fan. This board would look the same way if the situation was reversed.

Unfortunately with Otah, I don't think it's just being injury prone. I think it's a combination of being injury prone AND not working hard enough in the training room to get back on the field and staying healthy. There's a reason why Dan Morgan was given multiple chances with us. There was no doubt that the guy was going to work hard to try to get healthy and stay healthy, his body just wouldn't cooperate.

In regards to the excuse of "inability to foresee chronic issues," it was Otah's lack of effort to try and rehab and get better. This should have happened last year. Hurney gets thrown in the dog house for the lack of character judgement, trading up for this guy, and holding on to him for too long.

You should remember how desperate John Fox was to keep his job.. Coincidentally, all those "bad decisions" started happening.. JR gave Fox one last chance to prove himself and he failed.

Why do I feel like Rex Ryan is about to turn this joker into a pro bowler???

Anybody else have an eerie feeling that he's gonna ball out up there?

Man I hope not.... That would truly be a shame!

fans say this EVERY time someone is traded away, and there isn't yet one example..

Randy Moss says hello! (Oakland to NE)

And didn't he break Jerry Rice's records that year??? Hmmm

Just one off the top of my head.

I was directly referring to Ex-Panther players.. The best example may be Will WItherspoon, which isn't a shining example.. Of course he wasn't traded, he walked to get paid.. Of traded players, Kris Jenkins? That was short lived.

clearly I was referring to our fans... how likely is it that someone intended to use 32 examples over the last 10 years?

I play QB, and if my receivers would get their head out of their ass we might get on the same page. ;)
