Don't know how to feel about this trade yet. Mainly because what was traded to get him hasn't been said. If it was another player, cool. a 7th rounder, ok...but if a 5th or above was given up I'll rage.

We have some good depth at WR, and Murphy has been dealing with injuries for a while. He wasnt going to see many snaps with DHB, Moore, and Ford around. Plus if were trading Murphy we must like what were seeing from rookies Juron Criner and Rod Streater. Not to mention Murphy was making way to much money for a fourth or fifth WR (something like 1.2M).

Carolina can use a young WR with some potential. Interested to see what he can do with more playing time.

I think its a smart move for both sides.
