Question regarding concrete

Builder just poured fresh concrete to form slab and its raining very hard here and concrete is covered with water... How bad is it?

Potentially very bad depending on how much water got mixed in with the concrete. I work for an engineering firm and one of the things we do is design concrete mixes for specific requirements. Concrete is made of the following constituents: cement, aggregates, water, and sometimes fly ash and admixtures. Each mix is specifically designed with certain amount of each to meet the design requirements. Any alteration to the original design through addition or subtraction of any of the above constituents will change the way that concrete performs.

Make sure you contact your builder immediately.

About 2-3 hours between they stop pouring concrete and monsoon like rain for 3 hours. Talked to broker and he said builder fuged up big time. My dad said they will not re pour because its just too damn expensive to take out original concrete and add new one (my house is being built by publicly traded company). They will probably settle with us (give us little money to go away) and sell this lemon to unsuspected customer.
