Nascar in Primetime

Summer, particularly July, is the worst time of the year for football fans. With absolutely nothing going on in June/July, Nascar should take advantage and do Monday Night Racing. from a TV standpoint it works well because nothing is on so you will have a captivated audience. The biggest problem is the revenue from the track. I think NASCAR can easily do some handshake agreements and get through this. Reduce the ticket prices and you can fill up a place to help offset revenue loss. I think eventually the Monday Night Football atmosphere will prevail and the money will materialize.

Well the Daytona race this year would be a good indicator of whether or not this would be a success.

I never watch Nascar, but I did watch the Daytona race this year because it was the best thing on on Monday night.

I think its great for tv but it sucks for the track. I think that would kill the whole tailgaoe experience.
