Multiple dead in TDKR showing

I'm a criminal justice major and I've had to sit through plenty of lectures about gun control, buddy. Chances are that makes my opinion matter much more than yours does. If you really want to protect your family you should make your house so secure that no one will be able to get into it and learn hand to hand combat in the case that someone does. I've got news for ya, bud. If someone already has their gun drawn on you they aren't going to let you run to the closet and get out your shotgun.

OH tell us more of the life experiences you have in firearms due to your extensive lecture sitting through'ing.

I am a history major and I can tell you after studying history, and sitting through lots of lectures that George Washington was born with two buttholes.

Hilarious.

Guns aren't allowed in Chicago (still not sure how they can do that).

Watching the cable news makes me wonder about that, since apparently Chicago is Predator style violent this summer.

Not exactly news, but they must have run out of shark attacks.

Speaking of shark attacks, isn't shark week coming up soon?

ROFLMAO, Criminal justice major that has yet to obtain a degree. LOL, I can't stop laughing. Your opinion matters more than mine? You should change your major to comedy/entertainment. What is hand to hand combat going to do with a criminal with a gun? So I guess in the wild west, If you now hand to hand combat you will win a duel with someone with a gun? Another thing, why would I wait for someone to bust in my house and then pull a gun out on me to then go get a gun out of the closet. Make sure you paying attention in class. What are you getting your degree in criminal justice for? To be a security guard that can carry a gun?LOL SMH

Steel bars on the windows? Any residential house for the most part can be broken into if someone wants in it....

My house is designed so that only the bedrooms are upstairs. If someone is downstairs....I should have time to make sure no one walks up the stairs. Also, if someone breaks in....I don't want to rely on hand to hand. Anyone can have a puncher's chance and I could be out numbered. Now multiple people getting up my stairs w/ me having my gun.....good luck to them. I got a wife and kid. If I was a single man....I would relay on my karate I learned at 12.

Do you really think that someone who plans on doing you harm is going to bust through your door guns blazing announcing his arrival? You've got a better chance of disarming someone who has a weapon than you do finding your gun and shooting a man. Unless you're John Wayne you aren't going to draw your gun and kill a man who already has his drawn. The most effective method though is target hardening which is preventative measures that makes your house less appealing to criminals.

and by the way, I'm pretty positive that my teacher who used to be a criminologist in Washington D.C. knows a bit more about crime control than a bunch of rednecks on a Carolina Panther's message board.

Eh.... How else would one attack you while in your home without kicking in the door and guns "blazing"? Numerous external factors considered and I like my chance against the armed assailant. And I agree, target hardening times 100.

And you are what's wrong with society. Rednecks on a panther message board? Next it will be uppity blacks on a heat message board. (see what I did there.. Gangsta).

nobody ever suggests police officers shouldn't be allowed to carry guns despite the high number of fatal "accidents" caused by them

wonder what the statistics are in comparison between home invasions by criminals and home invasions by police that end in the death of innocent citizens

poo nobody wants to fuging talk about

it obviously cannot be this caucasian academic's fault that he shot up a movie theater full of people with several months of premeditation funded using government grants

its gotta be the guns bro

i think people receiving academic grants from the government should be required to show receipts to prove where those resources are being allocated. i see too much of being spent on kind bud and AR-15s

No. I think most people break into homes under the belief they are unoccupied...the homeowner being there is a surprise generally.

I have a better chance of disarming people in my house with my hands than finding my gun? What type of logic is being used there?

Bottom line is if someone breaks into my home....I ain't looking to tangle w/ them. That is foolish. I simply get my gun. Yell out the police are on their way.....keep my wife and kids upstairs and tell them they are dead men if they show themselves in my stairwell.

(that of course would be during a break-in during the middle of the night).

    • His o loaded with swift, dj, Keenan and Rome was inconsistent at best. The d was bad. And the game management was atrocious and lost them games.  He was terrible and made the team worse. I wish they kept him
    • That is my point.  I think teams make a huge mistake when they pay their decent to average QBs top QB money because they feel that they have to match the market or lose their investment--There is no way, for example, that Tua or Prescott or Murray should all be making more than Mahomes--I mean, Dak makes $15m per season more than Mahomes. People say, "Well, when its his turn...." But that is not how it should be--so my point was that Bryce can be doing mediocre to good enough in 2 years, but the way it is going, you have to pay him at the starting QB rate--currently $60m.  So even if you think he will continue to improve, at $60 m, he would eliminate any chance for a ring---so my view is, if he is not elite, you cut him.  So you draft QBs now and see what you can make of them.
    • With two 4ths and three 5ths I’m hoping we can kill it on adding depth. Take a gamble with the two 7ths.  First 3 picks id love to address the defense. I expect Tuttle, Robinson, and Jewell to all be on the 2025 roster but not after that. Be a good time to add depth and let them develop a year.
