I'm sure he respects Rivera enough that if they spoke Rivera could tell him he's here as a veteran presence to compete for the UT job but if the youngsters beat him he'll simply be rotational. If he can accept those terms on a modest contract, I don't see why they wouldn't pick him up. He could be our new Brentson Buckner.

Wouldn't mind it at all. Sign him for the minimum or an incentive based, 1 year contract. No downside at all IMO, and there's more reward than risk.

Wouldn't mind to sign him. No one thinks he's gonna save the dline but he would add nice depth and maybe compete and mentor McClain.
