Ray rice on 10 carries is lesser than DeAngelo...they are basically the same guy where Rice is a better YAC guy.

Also, is'nt this the last season that is a huge cap hit? It is timed perfectly for Stewarts contract...DeAngleo possibly wont be here in two seasons..

It is a lose, lose to a degree.....but they could make things worse. Bad vs even worse is what we are looking about ( and yeah both are studs)

It matters in February/March 2013. But that is a long ways away. I respect your opinion, don't get me wrong. But right now, it is pointless to still be bickering about the deal. Let's just move on and focus on training camp.

FWIW, I have no issue with you criticizing the team. As a matter of fact, I support that - seeing people blindly act as if everything is all good and dandy for Carolina is a bit annoying to see. I just don't see the point in complaining about the Williams deal at this point.

Yeah it doesn't matter that we pay comparable money to an older RB who is merely a piece of our ground attack.....to a featured RB who literally IS an offense. I guess it is silly to look at how we use our money vs how others do

I don't know who started the guaranteed money myth but the other money does matter. Sure when you cut a guy, that money is off the books but then you lose the guy. Guys make millions of unguaranteed money every season.

So guaranteed money> reg money but reg money does not equal 0.
