Bobcats Search For A Power Forward To Fill Out Roster (Scola a Sun, Jamison a Laker, Humphries a Net)

We probably could land Landry. Golden State is better than us if he want to win a few more games but I think he would choose a place where he will have bigger min and more of a starting role.

If we fail to land Landry, hopefully Blatche get amnesty.

He did.

Hummm ....

"Blatche can continue his NBA career elsewhere, if a team is willing to take a risk on a player who was basically deactivated the final 21 games of last season because he wasn't in good enough shape to play. That was probably the final straw for Blatche, who had certainly worn out his welcome with the fans in D.C. who routinely booed him when he was healthy and playing at Verizon Center.

The 6'-11" Blatche's career in D.C. was checkered with incidents on and off the court, ranging from getting suspended for a game for fighting with a teammate at a night club to refusing to enter a game. Blatche has struggled with his weight and last season he appeared to be the heaviest of his 7-year NBA career and only averaged 8 points and 6 boards in just 26 games of action."

Going two guys deep:

The Bobcats primary PF rotation should be: Mullens then Thomas.

Their primary C rotation should be: Haywood then Biyombo.

They'll probably play more guys than most teams if Dunlap applies pressure often.

In other words, I don't think they're too worried about picking up another PF. If something falls into place, maybe, but I don't think they're really too concerned about it after Mullens' showing so far.

"Will be very surprised if a Charlotte or New Orleans type team doesn't claim Leuer on waivers. Solid rookie year."

How about a waiver claim on both:

Jon Leuer (6-10) 15.3 PER

Jerome Jordan (7-0) 18.3 PER

Both have '12 salaries of $473,604, and both have 2 years remaining.

How many roster spots do we have?
