Colts OL Coach to Retire

I've seen from a couple of sources that Colts OL coach Howard Mudd has abruptly decided to call it quits.

This is potentially a big deal for the Colts if they don't have a comparable (or at leasr viable) successor lined up immediately. Mudd has long been considered one of the best OL coaches in the game.

I am sure that Indy will be able to replace him easily...well maybe not easily but they can vind a viable replacement....Could be a down year for the colts though...New HC and all

Might not be that simple.

Per PFT (quoting Chris Mortensen) the pension issue that caused Mudd to retire could also affect OC Tom Moore.

It seems like it could be the perfect year for Houston to rise up and steal the South. If the D-Rays and Blue Jackets can get in the playoffs for the first time in their leagues, why not the Texans?

The Indy Star is now saying it looks likely that OC Tom Moore will follow him out the door.

Congrats on your first head coaching job, Mr. Caldwell; but be warned, you might face a little adversity.
