Anybody know how to use IMovie?

So I got a Mac a few months ago, and it came with IMoive, so I had the bright idea of trying to make some Panther highlights, but I'm unable to add different clips to some of the highlights that I have recorded on youtube or NFL.com.

Anybody familiar with iMovies let me know.

Yessir, I use iMovie for my highlight vids. I'm confused as to what you're asking though.

Are the clips in MP4 format? Or .mov? If not, you'll have to convert.

usually what I do is I screen record everything, then I save it into iMovie, but if I try to add a different screen recording with another it will not work.

they have to be the right format.. i noticed the same thing with some sound clips. i couldnt drag them into the "live" area

just re-import the files after you have converted them, usually quicktime PRO allows you to convert, or else you will have to use another program
