Saw this on FB. Who are your 6?

Personally:

Smith, Lafell, Gettis

Pilares, Darvin Adams, Joe Adams.

Pilares because he produced, Darvin because he produced for Cam so there is chemistry, and Joe b/c of his, seemingly, natural talent and perhaps smitty/hester likeness.

Edwards just isn't a natural WR, so there doesn't seem to be a reason to keep him around anymore. If anything, drop Clausen and keep AE on as QB.

The others just don't seem to have a chance, IMO.

Otherwise, I can't wait for training camp and preseason. This whole WR debacle has been going on for too long.

Pilares, Bryant, Wallace, & Seyi the top guys for the final 2 spots

My guess is Pilares and Bryant

If we do this we are consolidating two wasted roster spots into one. I really like this. Pie for you my friend.

On the other hand we should cut AE and sign Clausen as a wide receiver. The net benefit would be the same.

I think the top 5 are solidified with Smith, BLF, Gettis, Pilares and Joe Adams. Last spot is going to be all out war but I really don't see any way armanti makes it. I think Rivera will just do what he did with Everette Brown: watch him try to play a bit of football, look at hurney and ask why the hell that guy plays for us, then cut him.

AE is as good as gone. Too many chances. Not his fault he was used completely wrong here, but we honestly just don't have the roster space for him.

I may be the in the minority but I look at is the type of receivers you carry on your roster.I still see us needing the big physical receiver that can get those tough short yardage plays.Colston would be a good example.Gettis is big but speed not technique or separation is his strength.With the group most have picked I see 3 guys with the same attributes with the exception of Bryant who seems raw and needs a year on the practice squad.

LaFell, is a very rounded receiver imo. He's not humongous and he's not blazing fast, but he is a lot of both and he's very under-rated in his "shiftyness". He has the potential to make those catches that we need and has already started to prove that.

for sure if those guys are healthy.

aaand the guy who wins the bubble spot is going to beee uhmmm, fug it ill say Bryant. Big guy like that has to have some ST's ability. I think Darvin and Edwards both have a shot if they ball though.
