Direct TV Losing 26 Channels Tonight

The latest participants in the carriage dispute dance are DirecTV and Viacom, with the two companies attempting to reach a new agreement before their existing one expires tonight. If they don't, the network's 26 channels (MTV, BET, VH1, Spike TV, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon etc.) could be cut off at midnight.

I love how viacom (and their media conglomerate ilk) makes themselves out to be the little guys in these contract money-grab disputes.

Viacom is a 30% bigger company than directv.

Palladia is pretty cool sometimes, and Nick for the kids. Other than that you should thank them for getting rid of garbage channels.

Yeah this sucks, only because of Nick Jr for my son and CC.

This is why I stick with what I know, which is TWC. I don't need NFL Network and I dont have to worry about my signal being lost when a storm comes through (which we have a lot of during the summer time). If the Panthers are playing on NFL Network, I'll just find a link on my laptop to watch it with. Problem solved.
