Bobcats in Dwight Howard's Trade Talk.

Recommended Posts

Thank you. I kept thinking reading through the last few pages, "where did it become a fact that Hendo is a better athlete than Brooks?" LOL.

I remembered reading his pre-draft stuff last year and it all said he was an explosive athlete. I actually wanted us to draft him there for awhile before we swung the deal we did to pick up another pick.

I pull for Hendo because he's on our team but I don't have a lot of hope for him getting much better than he is now. It's possible, but I don't see it. He doesn't have the consistency to be a go-to guy, or franchise type player. I think he's a good player and a starter, but that's about it. Brooks, at this point, has more upside and just as much ability.

Can't say it any better

Gerald Green put up the same numbers Raja Bell did.

Don't be such as ass, you can talk to people without trying to insult them.

I feel like I'm in high school again when I talk to you.

Didn't Green come the last part of the season? He wasn't even there most of the year. Stop trying to trick people we can look poo up to.

Marshon Brooks' career 3pt%: .313

Gerald Henderson's career 3pt%: .216

I'd take the better 3pt shooter. If you're a SG in the NBA for three years in you're 3pt % is that bad even when he supposedly been working with Stephen Curry, thats sad.

Watching Brooks' highlights vid, he seems more of a baller than Hendo to me. Hendo is too stiff and not much of a real baller. You can just tell if someone can ball or not. Brooks can and Hendo is just trying to. Hes a defense specialist in this league.

What the fug does that mean? Ray Allen and Kevin Martin have a better 3 point % then D Wade. But who is the better player and who would you want more?

He played 31 games, so what's your point?

MarShon Brooks was presented with the opportunity to showcase his talents right away where Henderson was not.

Don't see what the big deal is?

You brought up the stupid "Marshon did in 1 year what took Hendo 3". You said that stupid poo without looking at each player situation when coming into the league 1st.

Not stupid if true. If Henderson was good enough to get on the court he would have.

As far as production goes, look at per 40's first because Henderson received more minutes.

Second look at the rosters. The Nets have far better players that the Bobcats do, so how many shots would Henderson me getting if he were on that Nets team? Not nearly as much as he was getting last year.

Also, why do you keep attacking people personally?

Do you hate your life or something?

Also thanks for congratulating me on my Sport Management major, I actually found out I landed an internship with the Panthers for the 2012-2013 season.

Seriously, i wouldn't care which one. All three are great SG.

Wade only looks better bc he's playing with the best player in the league right now. Without Lebron, we all seen what happened to Wade and his Heat, lottery team yup .

Allen is old and Martin is actually a great player on a poor team.

We all know how Hendo's game is. Dnt lie to yourself too. Well if you actually do watch real games of Hendo and not just highlights from YouTube. Everyone looks good on highlight reels. But really Hendo is a poor man Sefolosha. Sefolosha is a better defender and shooter while Hendo is just a bit more athletic then him. If you actually watch Hendo plays, he's scare of taking shots even when he has space. Always passing elsewhere where it should've been an easy basket. That's what itching my head Everytime I watch Hendo play. I can't ever understand why you would pass away a shot when you're giving the oppurtunity to take an easy shot. Being a SG, you should be the one taking the shots that's why they call you a 'shooting' guard.

So you want to compare beating out Steve Jackson and Raja Bell to beating out Deshawn Steveson and Gerald Green (who wasn't there most of the year) and act like that's the same???? Really???

Even looking at 40 Hendo beats Brooks.

Last I'm not attacking you I'm attacking this dumbass argument you're trying to use.

But keep up the good work at school I want to see our young people succeed.

Heck no,

Bell, Jackson> Green, Stevenson

But you make it sound like Brooks wasn't challenged.

Also Hendo comes in a a whole 0.8 ppg ahead of Brooks. I would hardly call that definitive.

    • NFL Pro has the All-22 up already 😄 Going to grab a play or two from each redzone series to put screenshots to. Looks like AT angled his route off to the near pylon rather than the back corner where Bryce was throwing to. I imagine this is something they'll quickly try to figure out with Thielen back from IR. After watching the All-22 again, this was actually a pretty nifty play. I thought it was a TE screen to Tremble because of the way XL charged the DB, but he quickly shed and kept upfield as seen in the second screenshot. This looks like it had multiple layers built into it with AT running the crosser, XL the fade, Tremble to the flat. The progression would call for the play to go to Chuba here as the LB does follow Tremble out into the flat. Ball hits Chuba low and in the hands, but the LB does a good job disrupting the catch.
    • The bottom lines to me are that a) we played well enough to beat the best team in the league and b) Bryce Young is growing into a bridge QB role (his ceiling) for us. As much as I don't want BY around after the season, it seems DC can still build the O with a game manager at QB for now. Best case scanario, we can build the D through the draft this year and take a QB we have conviction outside the 1st this or next draft. If BY keeps improving, we are going to win a couple more games this year.
    • Bryce has been a completely different QB since coming back. That started in Denver where it was obviously he was playing a lot more loose and willing to push the ball downfield  Bryce continues to build off of the previous weeks performance and that’s what you want to see Bryce has been making some real good anticipation throws. Reading defenses well. Pushing the ball downfield (7 throws of 20+ air yards yesterday. 8 if you want to include PI to Thielen). The deep ball accuracy has been there. Some of Young’s best throws yesterday were incompletions. Sideline balls to XL and Moore both should’ve been caught. RZ dot to Tremble should’ve been caught. And another RZ ball to Moore that Young gave him a chance at. Bryce is starting to execute Canales offense and yesterday Canales finally opened it up a bit. Canales was to blame for the 126 passing yards in Germany as he played a more conservative game.  The next bit I’m looking for his for Young to be a bit more decisive with running the ball. Start putting that on film and it’ll help open things up a tad
