RIP Cooter...

He and Livermush (is it Mush now) were the first two huddlers I ever met. Cooter and my friend held my legs doing a keg stand (in a skirt) at my first tailgate which I came to after a game.

He was good people. He did so much for many people behind the scenes that nobody knew about. Always smiling even when he had stuff going on. I was shocked to hear this and so saddened.

Bo, you remember that gathering we had at I think it was Becky's place where he hid Shrimp all over their house like an Easter egg hunt? lol Never forget that! Still got those pics.

Good times...

He was impressed I knew all the words for "if that ain't country" he had me sing it 2 times to make sure he didn't give me to much credit as a yankee before he confirmed I knew them. Haha!

OMG - I have photos from that!!! He hid them in the light fixtures and everything. All with that poo eating grin on his face.

Wow. This is truly sad news. I remember going to a tailgate, and as soon as I walked in, he pulled mason jar of moonshine from his pocket. We were doing shots of moonshine at 10:00 am, and had a blast the entire game. He was one of the most genuine people I ever met.

I am sad to hear that he is gone.

Can anyone give an update as to what happened?

I knew the quieter side of Cooter. I remember sitting out in his back hard drinking a few while discussing marriage, raising boys, etc. He had his personal demons just like all of us do. There is no doubt in my mind that Sport had a good and loving heart. If there is a just god and a heaven, he is surely there now waiting on us to crack another one open.
