I also agree that the Redskins will take a chance on Gordon which certainly worries me.

I have high hopes for Griffin III and they are certainly surrounding him with talent (Tim Hightower, Roy Helu, Evan Royster, Fred Davis, Chris Cooley, Pierre Garcon, Leonard Hankerson, Josh Morgan, Santana Moss, Niles Paul, and potentially Josh Gordon) that is a formidable offense right there.

100%, you will be surprised at what Gordon can do when he has his head on straight.

So you can say with 100% certainty that a guy who has multiple issues in the past and was thrown off his last team, committed to another team then changed his mind and decided to bail, then declare for the supplemental draft will make our team if we draft him?

Seriously?????

There will be some rust, practicing and actually playing are two different things. It may take a preseason game or three to get their sea legs back.

Well yeah, but I don't expect the lack of play to directly effect either unless Gettis isn't fully healed when he starts to practice/play etc. or if Gordon decides to revert back to his foolish ways. I expect both of them to be ready by week one.

You said a team, not our team.

I can guarantee you that he will make a team, and for that matter; I can guarantee that he would make our team if we spent the pick on him. Otherwise why would you take him in the supplemental draft?

Do you see my circular reasoning there?

If someone uses a third rounder then you are right they might keep him. I would be surprised if anyone would use a draft pick that high. After all, what did we use on Gettis?? A 6th.......... No reason to think he will go higher and that doesn't guaranteed a roster spot. An anonymous team saying they would use a 3rd on him hardly means that anyone would.

We can only wait and see, right?

But don't be surprised if the Redskins use a third on Gordon come Thursday at one.
