NFL Ticket Exchange or Street Scalpers?

Recommended Posts

I was lucky enough to get some seats to the Giants game for a recent birthday. Shout out to Sec 531, we need to bring it. When the tickets came in the mail I noticed with taxes and fees my family had spent $62 dollars on an upper deck seat from Ticketmaster. That got me to researching prices a bit.

I could have gotten three seats to a Seahawks game on NFL Ticket Exchange for approx $60. Obviously some games are higher than others but I want to see all 32 eventually anyways. I would buy on the street when I was in college but I kind of like the security of knowing my ticket is legit. So the question is, can you find great deals on the street to almost any game? Or is NFL Ticket Exchange the way to go?

Is there any way to tell which seats are PSL owned?

Last year me and my buddy looked for the guys on the street. We got burnt in the New Orleans game (first conference game) The Jaguars game we sat 7 rows up on the 40 yd line for thirty bucks a piece. The Tennessee game we got in for free, only to be so hammered we left early and went to the titty bar. Btw that was a great game to leave early.

My guess would be that this season they will be higher on the street, because we will be good and we now have a superstar, but Im sure there are still some deals to be found.

The only game I ever went to without ticket in hand was the Super Bowl at the Silver Dome. Never got in, and missed most of the game. Watching parts on tvs as we searched for a way in. And got 25 feet through a gate near the players entrance before being shooed away.

I have sold tickets at the games, and it usually does not take long either. Stick your hand in the air, yell TICKETS, and hope you can at least make concession money.

If I go to a Panthers home game n waited till the last 10 before it starts could I DEFINITELY be able to get a seat? While paying a decent price?

Don't think you even have to wait that long. I always get good deals 20 min before the game.

Go scalpers unless it's a really big game. You can get into most games scalped for 25-30 bucks. I think the best deals are over on Moorehead most of the time. I don't think I've ever had to pay more than 45, but just realize if you go that route there's always a chance you may not get in.

Ill prolly go that route then my only fear is drivin 4 hr n then not bein able to get a ticket when I get there. How cheap we talkin lol say for a prime game or primetime game?

The Giants is our only prime time game this year and the NFL ticket exchange prices are much higher than other games. So it may be harder to find a ticket for that one.

We always scalp and have never not gotten in. Worse case you pay face value and that is rare. I have scalped for playoff games and gotten in. Much cheaper and you can get awesome seats. Scalping for more than 2 seats by each other is difficult.
