Saints* suspensions upheld

I am shocked and angered that Roger Goddell upheld the suspensions that Roger Goddell levied. Despite the fact that no new evidence was provided, I am still surprised he did not change his mind.

Shouldn't the players be the ones presenting new evidence? goodell and the NFL didn't file an appeal!

Funny how the whining of a few players and speculations by one football source who are trying up to whip up controversy are now evidence of widespread agreement that there was no bounty gate.

Seriously?????

Truth is that most people have moved on and are ready for the season to start. The only people who care are Saints* fans and conspiracy theorists. The suspensions are a done deal and any lawsuits for defamation of character aren't going to overturn anything. The only way the suspensions get overturned is if the players can prove that Goodell didn't follow the CBA guidelines. Otherwise they have nothing............

Yea after the last game of the regular season last year I am very concerned about the Panthers. No wait...

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Drew Brees and the record-setting Saints** held nothing back in their season finale, heading into the playoffs in dominant fashion.

Brees passed for 389 yards and five touchdowns, and the New Orleans Saints** set a slew of NFL and club records in a 45-17 blowout of the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.

hold on to last year and your choke job vs the niners, because going forward, that is as good as it gets for you.

Psst... oft used rhetorical devices include sarcasm and hyperbole. Literal interpretation is ill-advised.

Yea losing to the #2 seed that was 14-2 and the best defense in the league was a choke job. Come man admit it knowing that the Saints** put up 500 total yards and 32 points against that defense and the fact that this years Saints** team is the most talented in it's history has you wanting to gouge your eyes out. How does it feel knowing you have virtually no chance of making the playoffs much less winning the NFC South? Must be great supporting a team that strives for .500 each year and has never won a Lombardi trophy not to mention the only super bowl appearance was when the majority of players on the team were overdosing on Steroids. Division this year is again between the Saints** and Falcons and now that we have their best defensive player I think the outcome is probably pretty safe.

Pretty sure the players presented the facts of how Goodell was wrong on so many points. Not Hargrove on the video, Fujita didn't play for the Saints* in 2010, Hargrove never admitted to bounty, no proof of any payments being made. Shockingly he said "yea you are right suspensions upheld"

Hard to repeat that without Brees.

Wasn't it you who insisted the Saints* were going to get a slap on the wrist for this mess?

Didn't you also predict a hometown discount from Brees?

Weren't you agreeing that Brees would be signed next week about 8 weeks ago?

Them NO folk tend to be a superstitious lot... You keep jinxing the Saints* with your predictions & they're gonna put a mojo on yo ass. Turn you into a polar bear... With little baby feets.
