Antawn Jamison to visit

It really hurts to be a fan of a team that is this bad.

Even team without money have brought more players in for a visit then we have.

We get killed on the boards give up more 2nd chance points then any team in the league last year.

And they bring in or show interest in soft PF and Guards. Then most of these players are not interested in us.

This is really sad.

Where is the F'n big guy help Cho was talking about?

This just in: the worst team in NBA history doesn't garner as much free agent interest as others...

You would think Money could get somebody wanting to play for the worst team.

poo what does PHX have? They are signing anybody they want. Is it really exciting playing with Gortat and Robin Lopez?

The whole reason we were put in the 8th seed ceiling is because we overpaid veterans which ruined our cap space. I'd rather take Jamison, a local guy who WANTS to play for the Bobcats on a veteran minmum than overpaying Dragic, Fields, Lin, etc.

That's the Cho mentality. Here's OKC's roster from 2007-08 when they went 23-59 after 20-62 the previous season. Not exactly big spenders. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2008%E2%80%9309_Oklahoma_City_Thunder_season#Roster

The next season, they drafted Harden, won 50 games, and went to the playoffs. They find cornerstones via the draft and lock them up by not wasting money on free agents. The ones they do bring in are nice role players who aren't overpaid for what they bring to the court.

With our cap space and roster opportunities, you would think we would be a great landing spot for a FA who has been a great reserve wanting a starting job and starter money. Dont know who that would be though.

You would think a Back-up who could be a starter would come here.

Jamison is a good Idea coming off the bench not starting. Which he would do for this team.

Right now we have to beg Jamison to sign here. This is a sad situation to be in.

There arent exactly a bunch of guys like that available in free agency though. An example of the kinds of guys left that are mildly interesting for the right price in no particular order:

Gerald Green

Courtney Lee

Jason Thompson- restricted

Nate Robinson

Ryan Anderson- restricted

Lou Williams

Aaron Brooks

OJ Mayo

Luis Amundson

Look at the guys they have been linked to liking or interested in.

Dragic

E Gordon

Beasley

Jamison

OK but who stops us from being ass raped on the boards?

And how does that make some of the players we are trying to develop feel?

Kemba can't like the Dragic thing and Hendo is like WTF with the Gordon interested.
