Stand-up Paddle Boards (SUP)

I was just wondering how many folks here have gotten into this over the past few years. It seems every time I go to Charleston, LA or VB I keep seeing more and more of them around and its not really just one demographic...there's all ages on these things.

Anyone have any near the coast, lake, or river? Some are pretty cool with sail extensions for hybrid surfing type stuff. I've even seen people fishing with these on rivers. Just cool stuff and thought I'd try to take a huddle inventory...I'm interested in seeing the current market for these things all around.

Yeah, we got one a few years back. My family lives on the Intracoastal across from Figure Eight (right next to Wrightsville), and we rock that thing all the time. More fun than kayaking, but not as easy.

Ooh, Landfall? Impressive.

I'm always out in the water during the summer in the malibu/ventura area of southern california. Paddle boarding has seem to become increasingly popular over the years as it is not only fun, but a good workout.
