Man you guys come up with more stupid rants then anything I have ever seen. What evidence do you have to prove that there was not bounty?

Really? So the players have to prove there was not a Bounty instead of God Dell proving that there was one. Boy have you been suckered in by the mighty NFL. Also, this nonsense that because the players signed on to the CBA means that they have no recourse if God Dell makes unjust and unlawful rulings is ridiculous. It doesn't matter what was signed or what fine print there is, if God Dell is ruling unfairly and it is keeping players from earning a living trust me, the courts will not allow it to continue. I swear I think the IQ of this board is around a 5th grade level.

Still have not heard your rebuttal to the admission of guilt from the coaches and front office. Nor have you addressed the fact that this is the 2nd and maybe 3rd time the league has had to get involved with the Saints* bounty system.

Just because one peice of evidence fell apart does not change the fact that the Saints* had it coming and they were too stupid to clean it up.

Noone believes you or your side of the arguement.

Have a nice day

You see this is exactly what I am talking about. People make decisions based on what they think they hear and then try to use their incorrect information to make a point. For example, “Still have not heard your rebuttal to the admission of guilt from the coaches and front office” Please show me one just one quote from any reliable source that shows a coach, player or front office person admitting that there was a bounty system in place. Good luck with that one. Example two: “Nor have you addressed the fact that this is the 2nd and maybe 3rd time the league has had to get involved with the Saints***** bounty system” Do you really think that if the Saints**** players and coaches thought that there was a bounty system in place and the NFL came to them and said stop that they would just ignore them? The reason nothing was really done is because there was no bounty system in place. Please at least try to use your brain at some point.

Third: “Just because one piece of evidence falls apart…” Are you kidding me? You do know that this is the 4th or 5th thing that has proven to be wrong don’t you? Please answer that because if you can’t it means that you are really not informed and should not even attempt to participate in this discussion.

Just to help you with this process read through the list below. This is just a small sampling of how corrupt the NFL has been:

NFL "Hargrove submitted a signed declaration to the league that established not only the existence of the program at the Saints***, but also that he knew about and participated in it

Fact: In the declaration, Hargrove said only that "I denied all knowledge of a bounty or bounty program."

NFL: Hargrove actively participated in the program while a member of the Saints***."

If the NFL has evidence of this they have yet to show it.

NFL "The evidence showed that Hargrove told at least one player on another team that Vikings quarterback Brett Favre was a target of a large bounty during the NFC Championship Game in January of 2010."

Fact: In the declaration, Hargrove said former Saints*** defensive coordinator Gregg Williams told him that "some people" thought he had told Minnesota Vikings defensive lineman Jimmy Kennedy about the bounty. Both Hargrove and Kennedy have denied that conversation took place.

NFL "Hargrove also actively obstructed the league’s 2010 investigation into the program by being untruthful to investigators."

Fact: Hargrove denied all knowledge of any program,

NFL: Reportedly has a ledger showing where Saints** players were paid for cart offs. The NFL initially said that the ledger reveals that three $1,000 payments were made as a result of the Saints’ September 2009 game against the Bills.

Fact: It was pointed out that 3 players hurt in the Saints**/Bills game were all defensive players which contradicted who the NFL said was putting out bounties. After hearing of this the NFL changed and said the ledger was actually from the Saints**/Panthers game and showed $1000 payments being made for cart offs. The only problem with that is that Thomas Davis was the only player hurt in that game and it was a non contact injury. My guess is the NFL will find a Saints** game where 3 offensive players were hurt and will change their story to match that game.

Would you like me to continue because there is a lot more?

I swear I think the IQ of this board is around a 5th grade level.

First of all IQs are not measured as grade levels. A fifth grader can have an IQ of 25 or 200. The former makes him severely mentally retarded while the latter is at a genius level. Even fifth graders know that.

As for shoddy logic, there are 50,000 pages of evidence documenting the bounty gate and there have been numerous authorities and reporters that have said that the evidence is overwhelming. A Louisiana Senator who was pushing for an hearing was shown the evidence and was convinced to drop the hearing upon seeing the overwhelming evidence.

You on the other hand point to a few incongruous pieces of evidence to suggest that since they may be inaccurate, then everything is inaccurate. That is like having 30 charges against you and refuting one of the charges and saying that since I was innocent of that then I was innocent of everything. Again perhaps that plays well on Saints* Report but not everywhere else

And you miss the point the experts are saying over and over. Unless Goodell violated the CBA, the suspensions will stand and the players have no recourse. The courts don't have a dime in this. The NFL is a private company who has set their own rules for suspensions and appeals. Starcaps was about the suspensions violating state law but in this case no state or federal laws were violated in the suspensions. Keep up the hope that this is going to be overturned but it won't. Even a fifth grader would know that.

tell ya what gimme a coupe hours to scroll thru some google searches until i find articles and opinions (facts*) to support my argument and ill fill up an entire page of hyperbole and further rubish that ultimately means nuthing in the end because the players are suspended as are the coaches and there is not a damn thing you or I can do about it.

The reason is because Goodell rushed to judgment based on unsubstantiated evidence and now the entire thing is blowing up. This entire mess is over “pay for performance” pools which every team in the league has been doing for many many years. If you don’t believe that you are foolish. Below are just brief examples of how ridiculous some of the NFL’s actions have been:

- Misrepresented Anthony Hargrove’s statement saying he admitted there was a bounty when in fact he never did

- Said he had 50,000 pages of documents yet only came up with a handful to show and many of those have proven to be altered.

- Accused Joe Vitt of participating in a “Bounty” which Vitt aggressively denied and then Goodell backtracked

- Stated that Scott Fujita participated in a bounty program with the Saints** in 2010 when in fact he played for the Browns that year

- Accused Hargrove of making a statement during a game on video that now is proving to be untrue

- Claimed he had handwritten evidence of journals and then shows the so called evidence retyped

- Used statements from so called witnesses that have sense recanted their statements and are showing to be totally unreliable

It is backfiring on Goodell and the truth will soon come out. All suspensions will be overturned

You say Goodell rushed to judgement.

a respected and independent judge who reviewed it all.....called it a slam dunk.

Goodell needs to be forced out... Yeeeah, right

The owners just recently gave him an extension, actually.

The only people who think he needs to be "forced out" are delusional Saint fans, and frankly nobody gives a flying rip what they think.

Goodell is going to be in charge of the NFL for probably at least the next decade, possibly longer. And there's not a thing all the disgruntled Saint fans in the world can do about it.

But there is something we Panther fans can do, of course...

Laugh hysterically
