20-0, because the panthers are gonna be so good the whole Pro Bowl team for the NFC is going to be the Panthers, So we win the Pro Bowl and the Super Bowl.
isn't next year when if you go to the superbowl you don't go to the probowl? i think the probowl is also supposed to be before the probowl this year isn't it?

He wasnt a Giants fan. I would know. ;) And neither am I. My name has nothing to do with the Giants. It may have somthing to do with it being the first letter of my name.

I know one thing for a fact, Gman was a complete idiot that never quite understood why he rubbed everyone the wrong way, and considering what you have said I take it your Gman under a different name:thumbsup: great job fug wad, ever try harder to get a bullseye on your back

Oh beleive me gman fully understood why he rubbed so many of you the wrong way. Its because he was right about the fan base and it embarrassed many posters and they just couldnt handle it. I'll tell him you said hi though. ;)

And he's been to every game since 2000 and he was 100% correct.

I have no idea who Gman is

But I'm already guessing you're his alt account.

The game against Dallas is so huge.

If we whipe the floor with them on prime time...Panthers will get instant street cred.

If by Panthers getting street cred you mean ESPN covering the Cowboys downward spiral ad nauseum while giving us no credit for the win, then yes, we'll have instant street cred.

Gman was perm banned, and for good reason. He would always claim he was right regardless of what you say or any evidence to the contrary, and I agree I think it's him under another account, and with that being said he will be banned again very soon.

Actually gman was never banned. The site crashed and he was too lazy to re register. But since you guys miss him so much now I'll see if I can convince him to come back. :)

You can beleive that if you wish but he was posting right here in this very forum the day before the board crashed.

I do wish I was gman though. He is definitely a hall of famer if I do say so myself.;)

    • Too late to edit above but the quote is from this Diane Russini article in the Athletic: https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5941684/2024/11/23/russinis-what-im-hearing-the-day-the-jets-fell-apart-and-the-broncos-rallied-belichick-best-fits/ Okay.. there you have sorry I left that out the first post.  Also waivers keep the contract intact. That is the major difference in released and waived. It's all in that link from the other post.
    • Okay so I am reading something in The Athletic and it says that Jones had to pass through waivers. So I don't know. I looked this stuff up when we were number one there all offseason and I thought it said 4 years in the league got you vested, as they call it.  Vested gets you out of waivers as I understood it. I probably got something wrong, but when I think about the slack quality of journalism these days I wonder about that. So I went and looked, again. Well, well.  For everyone: "When a player has accrued at least four seasons in the NFL, they are considered a vested veteran. When these vested veterans get cut, they are released and their contract is terminated. When a vested veteran is released, they are an unrestricted free agent that can sign with any NFL team, and the team that released them doesn’t need to provide any additional compensation." It runs it all down here, where the quotes came from: https://www.profootballnetwork.com/waived-vs-released-nfl/ As far as Jones, the team turned down his 5th year option so I knew that meant he had 4 years in, because they re-signed him anyway, after turning down the much cheaper extra year.  The Athletic is owned by the New York Times so I shouldn't be surprised. That paper was an institution once upon a time but they let their standards go.
