the post I was alluding to was JOAT's.

I know it's not his fault that people get hurt on the field, or maybe it is in some cases indirectly because of some of the players he kept for so long, but he is nonetheless responsible for the outcome is what I'm saying.

in '07 Jake went down, but if our coaching system could develop a half-decent QB, our record would've been better than 7-9, and in this NFC conference where an 8-8 team can make the playoffs, we would've had a good chance. Besides the QB position we were relatively healthy that year.

In '06 a ton of people were banged up, but we were in position to win almost every game, with a lead in most 4th quarters that we dropped and collapsed in the last minute. Just one more win would've given us a playoff berth.
