No. False. Incorrect. Bullshit.

We had Jon Beason go down, our pro bowl MLB. Then we had Thomas Davis suffer his 3rd torn ACL. Both being team captains and very essential parts of our defense, our LB corps for the year was pretty bad besides Anderson.

You add a young LB in Kuechly that you already know will have success in this league, and then you bring back your two defensive captains and we have 4 solid guys that I will put up against anyone in the league.

You must be a Camwagoner.

LOL, what part exactly is untrue?

We have a lot of great tandems in great places

If only we could get a great tandem in our secondary

Gamble and Norman... anyone?

Rookies making a splash is not something unheard of. Just does not happen much. Especially a 5th rounder. But hell, why not? He seems to have the make-up. Good size, speed, attitude, and a good athlete. Now the question becomes. Is he big enough for the game? By that I mean, can he step up and do everything, and then more, to prove and earn that spot? Tall task for a rookie. What the hell, why not? It would both thrill and scare me if he did win the job.

I usually temper my enthusiasm somewhat for 5th rounders. But something about this guy is intriguing. I like that they let him go after Smitty. Gave him some confidence, while letting him get his feet wet. Next step, pads. If we see some more progression. Maybe we can start getting exciteder?
