NFC's most Dynamic Duos

Oh you think you can be a sarcastic twit? Well look at me!

Too bad because this was an interesting thread. Don't really see how Cam to Smitty is a bona fide "duo." I mean, he passes it to a lot of other people too (LaFell, Olsen, Stewart, Naane) for a lot of yards. I wouldn't put Smitty up there with the MOST productive WRs today. He had a good 2011, but he's a little past his prime (its the hard truth). I expect his importance in the offense to be about the same, but I think his numbers will decrease as Gettis and Barnidge get into the mix. He might only get right at 1000 yards and maybe 65-70 catches. Still, his TDs could be higher than his 7 in 2011. To me this is a good offense that is more balanced than this "duo" article indicates.

I do agree that 34/28 is THE BEST duo in the NFC South and should be top 3 in this article. They compliment each other so perfectly and the support each other personally and professionally. We have the best running game in the league with these two healthy. Now...some people think that one of the two could be traded for value elsewhere. But the two are tied together for at least one more year and so 2012 could be an auspicious season. With the emergence of Newton as an option runner, his ability to devour yards on the scramble, and the addition of Tolbert, this offense is poised to dominate opponents. Again, balance is the goal, not necessarily stats. With a better defense, efficiency becomes the focus on offense. Hopefully, we won't need 30+ points a game to win some this season.

So...to sum up: Cam to Smitty is amazing...truly...and I'm not dissing it, but its not the most marquee DUO in the NFC. Wiliams/Stewart should be WAY higher than #8. Their stats will likely go up a bit this season.

Being a better TEAM in 2012 means less 1/89 and more 28/34.

49ers...3-4 D...4 LBs....not a trio.

So then what should be said is Carolina has the best 43 LB trio....half the teams in the NFL run a 3-4. So half the teams and there LBs arent even eligible to be discussed.

I would still correct that....we should have the best run game with a healthy Cam. Could miss half of double trouble and have that. Lose Cam and double trouble wouldn't be the best.

Not saying they aren't talented enough in a vacuum but they would not be as good in this scheme without Cam.

Cam, 1RB and Tolbert could give us the best ground attack.

DA or Clasuen + Double Trouble wouldn't likely be the top attack

even then, i stand beside carolina's LB corps being among the top 5 LB corps in the league, regardless of scheme.

Well, if I get to count Davis as 100% and Luke being what he projects to be....and Beason comes back relatively close to what he was.... I would call them the best 4-3 LB group in all the NFL.

A lot of valid question marks are there. From a potential standpoint....there ceiling is probably the best

The huddle has gone from "Yeah..we need to draft a LBer did you watch last year? Definitely 100% our worse problem" to "We have the best set of LBers in the league.

No. False. Incorrect. Bullshit.

We had Jon Beason go down, our pro bowl MLB. Then we had Thomas Davis suffer his 3rd torn ACL. Both being team captains and very essential parts of our defense, our LB corps for the year was pretty bad besides Anderson.

You add a young LB in Kuechly that you already know will have success in this league, and then you bring back your two defensive captains and we have 4 solid guys that I will put up against anyone in the league.

You must be a Camwagoner.
