Panthers O-line vs. Skins D-line

Wharton can handle Haynesworth, he is one of the best guards in the league. Especially with Kalil doubling. I'm sure Otah could eat Orkapoop for breakfast and still want brunch. Gross can handle whatever's thrown at him. And I'm confident Vincent or Robinson can hold their own.

Depends on how a DE approaches Otah.

Straight up bullrush ain't gonna work, speed can tho.

So nice to have confidence in an O-line tho, it's been a long time:banghead:

redskins will get the pre-2007 version of haynesworth, ie...not all that scary unless you are laying on the ground after a play is over and your helmet is off.

he was playing for a huge contract in '07. in '08 he was playing to keep from getting tagged again. he got his big pay day. he got out of his tag. the incentive is gone.

not worried.

Actually in 08 he couldn't be tagged, it was a stipulation in him agreeing to sign his tag in 07. This makes your point even better though as Haynesworthless knew that he was going to hit FA, thus his value needed to be maxed.

the stipulation was he couldn't get tagged again if he reached certain benchmarks. he reached him, they couldn't tag him. had he underperformed he would/could have gotten slapped again.

According to the Tennessean, the Pro Bowl selection triggers a clause in Haynesworth's contract that the Titans cannot use their franchise player tag on him for a second straight offseason to keep him off the free agent market.

The whole NFC East for the most part have very good defensive lines especially the redskins and Giants. Its going to be tough to run on them which means we're going to have to rely heavily on Jake to bail us out in the passing game. Thats a very scarey thought.

We did pretty good running against the Giants last year, what makes you think it can't happen this year?

Unfortunately, it's was a preseason game, but we did run on Washington all day...

Haynesworth got his money, he'll be back to half-assing it this season.

Meanwhile, Otah and Vincent will dominate. Wharton and Gross will dominate. Kalil will dominate on his way to a pro bowl.

Redskins and Cowboys can suck my ass.

The Giants are now stacked at defensive line. Plus they were playing without Osi Umenyiora and I beleive they were without Kiwanuka too. Not to mention Justin Tuck had limited playing time because he had the flu in that game and when he did play he was awful. They have a tough defensive line just like the rest of the NFC East.

Kiwanuka was in the game. Him and Tuck had 5 tackles apiece.
