Panthers O-line vs. Skins D-line

I know, I know, it's months and months away. But it's been raining for a week and I'm stuck inside with nothing to do, and this particular question has been rattling inside my brain for a week now:

Given the Redskins' increased volatility on defensive line, bolstered in particular with the offseason addition of pro-bowler Albert Haynesworth, how will our offensive line hold up? Will we be able to run on them? Will we be able to pass on them? We have a fantastic crew in the trenches, but can they hold their own against such a formidable front four?

It's a matchup I both dread and look forward to, paradoxically.

Otah will eat Orakpo for lunch and still have room to devour an other DE they have.

What I'm afraid of is blocking Haynesworth, it really depends who we have starting in the interior. He will demand a double team, so Kalil + one of the guards should do. If not, we'll be running outside which was a strength last year; especially to the right.

Jason Taylor... anyone think he'll be an issue?

My thoughts precisely... runs outside, to the right. but the problem is, if Haynesworth and company make runs up the middle impossible, it'd be easy for the Skins D to gameplan around it, bringing the pressure around the sides of the line to negate the outside run. Thats the way I could see that backfiring.

Jason Taylor was cut, there line is not scary. I believe ours is scarier than theirs if we have Julius next year.

redskins will get the pre-2007 version of haynesworth, ie...not all that scary unless you are laying on the ground after a play is over and your helmet is off.

he was playing for a huge contract in '07. in '08 he was playing to keep from getting tagged again. he got his big pay day. he got out of his tag. the incentive is gone.

not worried.

Wharton can handle Haynesworth, he is one of the best guards in the league. Especially with Kalil doubling. I'm sure Otah could eat Orkapoop for breakfast and still want brunch. Gross can handle whatever's thrown at him. And I'm confident Vincent or Robinson can hold their own.
