2 Americans to the round of 16....Querrey can make it 3 if he can take down Cilic.

Roddick should have won that second set.

It's just Baker and Fish, since Querrey could muster the marathon magic, losing 17-15 in the 5th. Baker's got a punchers chance to get to the QF against Kohlschrieber. Fish will have a tougher road with Jo-Willie Tsonga.

Over on the women's side Serena got extended by China's Zheng Jie, winning the 3rd 9-7. It doesn't get any easier as her next opponent Yaroslava Shvedova became the first woman (and 2nd player) in history to record a golden set - winning every point in all 6 games. Shvedova's golden set came against French Open finalist Sara Errani.

Women's final: Serena-Radwanska. Radwanska could become new World #1 with a win, a good omen for her as the last 2 major champs on the women's side moved up to #1 after winning. Serena will be at 4 regardless of what happens. Azarenka would go back to #1 if Serena wins, with Radwanska at 2, Sharapova at 3.

Over on the men's side a Federer win would put him back up to #1, tying Sampras's record of weeks at #1. Any of the other 3 winning would keep Djokovic atop the rankings and Federer at 2. Murray's at 4 regardless of what he does. Tsonga could move to 5 with a win over Murray, but no higher even if he wins the whole thing.

As a longtime Fed fan, I really hope he gets this. I honestly think Fed/Djoker is the true(fake) final and whoever wins rolls in the actual final (barring a 5 setter that lasts close to 6 hours).

Nothing against Joey-Wil or Murray, but they will never be on that elite level that Fed has been on and that Djoker will continue on into the next few years. It is crazy that they have never played on grass against one another.

I respect the Williams sisters for keeping American tennis relevant, but have always hated their attitude.
