I'd like to get mine checked I just haven't done it...

Haven't been cutting lately or anything so it doesn't really matter...  I've been working on getting stronger (and probably a little bigger) and several people have commented lately that I looked like I've lost weight, so hopefully I'm doing something right...  because if anything my actual weight has gone up a couple of pounds to hover around 216-217 lately.

This thread has been pretty quiet lately... y'all still grinding?

bumped that deadlift PR to 245x5 last night.

next week I'm going to attempt squatting 185.  As easy as 175 has gotten in my working sets, I should be able to bang out at least 3 or 4 ATG.

You know what the great thing about squats and deadlifts are?  They'll immediately tell you what the weak link muscles are between your knees and your shoulders.  For me, it's always been clear that my weakest muscles are my quads and spinal erectors.

Love 'em, hope to be squatting 300/deadlifting 400 one day.

I been hard at it...

After my 370x4 on the deadlift last week... I got 300x1 on my last set of flat bench Saturday with Joscott.

I also got 18 plates (45s) on the leg press for 5 6 reps pretty easily, which I calculate out to roughly the equivalent of 400 lbs on the squat.

I played golf today, and I'm out of town tomorrow and Friday for some training, but I'll be back at it hard Sunday morning when I'm back. :)

So the last few pages got me thinking. Does anyone else here deal with criticism or half serious jokes about working out too much or being obsessed?  I do, I wish people were more supportive about my hobbies and interested than critical. I don't criticize them for playing video games over 10 hours a week or watching tons of TV or whatever they are into.

Also, I love Kale salads. You gotta rub the seasonings and dressing into the Kale it kind of absorbe it.

Saw an article on CNN today about a fit mom that made me think of the criticism you said you get sometimes.

and, yes, she's pretty hot. :)

Yeah I've seen that. The comments don't surprise me at all.

Years ago I had a friend who was putting on weight rapidly. We were eating dinner she order fajitas and I ordered two tacos no sides. The waiter walked away and she said "you think I'm fat don't you, you should be eating more then just two tacos". I was in shock because I didn't say or do anything other than order my food. After a few more crazy instances like that I stopped hanging with her. Bitches be crazy.

The only gfs I have left in my life are all very confident. Makes for less drama.
