I apologize for all the typos, the combo of my fingers typing on these tiny keys and my "smartphone's" lack of intelligence when it comes to autocorrect are a disaster.

I also wanted to ask if you guys had any good recipes for quinoa? I have a whole bag of it and have yet to open it because I have no idea what to do with it.

follow instructions on the bag, substitute chicken broth for at least half of the water, delish.

also, my wife made this and it was a pretty good mix.

My legs and lower back remain my weakest parts.  I always told myself that I didn't want to be a bench=squat person, but here I am, still struggling along.

Bench: 175x5

Squat:  175X5

Deadlift: 225X5

Those are just numbers man...

Do you know how many guys can't bench their body weight?  Much less 5 times...

Just keep pushing it.

I've ate terribly the since Saturday. I bought baklava at the Greek Festival and ate all 6 pieces. I never do stuff that extreme and I had cookout on Sunday after the Panthers game since then I was in a downward spiral. But that ends today!

From what I saw at the game Cat you been killing it with the workouts... and that's no backhanded compliment.  :)

The moment I am satisfied is the moment I stop pushing it.  Sad, but that's the way it's happened before when I've gone to the gym.

In a year, I hope to be benching 225, squatting 315 and deadlifting 405.  Bench and deadlift could definitely happen, starting to get down about the prospects of getting there with the squats, though.

Personally I believe squatting is more mental than physical. I know it sounds weird, but I know if I'm feeling pretty confident and having a good workout, that bar gets pretty light.

How much do you really push yourself on squats? I bet you will be pleasantly surprised what you can actually do once you start pushing it. (only push it if you're going parallel with a spotter - don't try that ish going ass to ground)

I know I was content with 225 way back when until someone challenged me to push it. I tried 315 and found it incredibly easy and got 10 reps. I don't remember what I eventually maxed on the squat, but I really bet you can do double what you think you can do. Quads are crazy powerful.
