I hate running. If it weren't required for my second job, I would never do it. My cardio would come strictly from biking or swimming.

That being said - is it realistic to try to take about 2 minutes off my 2 mile time in 3 weeks?

~bear in mind the amount of motivation I require just to hit the pavement is something out of this universe.

We have very different views of what having a "lifestyle" really entails. So, our disagreement is born from that and the discussion is moot.

i use the dictionary for definitions.   dunno where you get yours.

lifestyle [ˈlaɪfˌstaɪl]

n
1. a set of attitudes, habits, or possessions associated with a particular person or group
2. such attitudes, etc., regarded as fashionable or desirable

working out is a habit.   going to the gym 3 times a week is a habit and other choices (should i skip gym this week and go to the movies?) revolve around that habit.

fitness is a lifestyle.   just like being unfit is a lifestyle.  sometimes things are beyond our control, like with that bald headed guy that posts in this thread, and if what he says is true then he puts all of us to shame

It's certainly possible.  You just have to push yourself pretty hard.  You'd be amazed at what your body can do if you just don't let it give up.

By this definition, your lifestyle is literally everything.

I walk through doors every day. Walking through doors is my lifestyle.

some people have never even seen a door.  not walking through doors is their lifestyle.  and not having doors is definitely a fuging game changer.

I was just being a dick there. I see your point, and you are correct. I have just always viewed a lifestyle as something that more defines you as a person. But, by it's definition, fitness or lack of fitness, is a lifestyle choice.

I'm looking at getting back on another mass gainer.  Last one I took was Serious Mass by Optimum Nutrition.  I had decent results with it.  Anyone have a good gainer to get on before my cutting cycle?

I've never really tried a hardcore mass gainer... I just take protein after I workout and try and get some during the day.

Honestly I really don't want to get that much bigger...  I would like to get a little more cut, but my desire for that goes down exponentially as I start doing cardio... lol

Jase may have some tips on this... idk what he's tried since he's putting on weight.

Yea. I'm a seriously hard gainer, so I take in a poo ton of calories every day as it is.

ISS Research creatine has really helped me harden up my muscles as well. It works well going from loading to holding.

Any tips, Jase?
