From what I understand, the fitband is a pedometer that goes on your wrist. Jerk off and it tracks that as a workout. Do push ups and nothing.

You can get an arm strap and a free app on your phone and have the same information.

I got the Fitbit at Verizon when I bought my new phone the other day...  they gave me a discount...

Needless to say, the dipshit didn't bother to check and it doesn't work with my phone...

It did work with my wife's iPhone so she tried it for a few days...  not worth it in our opinion.  Doesn't really do much... you have to put in so much data yourself, what's the point?

Being returned.

Yep I have an app that tracks runs, bike rides, etc but I never remember to use it. You can manually put in other workouts and it tracks calories.

I've only manually entered a workout once and never bothered with the diet portion.

Its for someone a little more serious than me.

What are folks thoughts about whether cardio should go before or after lifting. Me, I am doing it afterward (run 1.5 miles on treadmill and 3 miles on stationary bike). I wonder though if it would be better to do it first. On leg day I am struggling with this. What say you?

Cardio either between lifting days or after lifting. You want to be able to give you lifts all you have. If it is too taxing to run after lifting, run the day after lifting.

when i'm feeling young i'll go hit a 5 minute interval session on the ropes before and after my resistance routine.   sometimes hill sprints.    just something to get the blood pumping and wake me up
