But back to the tire... 650 lbs? I gotta see this tire. I used to use one that was 350 and it was a bitch to flip because of its size moreso than its weight. IIRC, it was R55

 

i just now saw this.   i'll take pictures tomorrow.

 

that's just what i found them listed as weighing online, tbh i have no idea what it really weighs.  its tough to flip because of its weight and size.

that's probably the weight with rim and fully inflated, but it could be the tire alone.

The one I was talking about, it was wide (diameter wise) and thick. To pick it up, my chin would touch the top outer wall. if I wasn't perfectly centered, it would just roll away. much too thick to simply push over at that point.

mine comes up to my chin i think when standing and is as high as my knee when laying.  its a bitch to flip and tears my forearms all to hell

So do you keep a huge tire at your house and flip it around or something?? Is that what crossfit people do?
