I start tennis class today. I'm not sure how much of a workout it will be. I think I'll wear my heart rate monitor. I am excited about learning how to play though.

I've been doing Isanity workouts still. I can't stop!! But I've added Brazilian Butt lift from Beachbody into the mix. It's OK, not sure it's doing much compared to insanity. The tummy tuck workout for the abs is pretty good, it hurts like a fuging crazy though. I've notice a new line on my abs pop up since I started it.

Working out is very, very addictive.

there are better, less stressful forms of exercise, even if its just mountain climber intervals

my cardio consists of 20 min run, 30 min elyptical and 30 min bike, so actually running is less than 1/3 of what I do, but I enjoy it, it's the only exercise I actually like to do

hey if you enjoy it, but you really couldn't pick worse forms of cardio :

my 3 fav forms of cardio: skipping rope, rollerblading, swimming

unfortunately i have no way to swim

i swam for 9 years through middle and highschool and rarely felt like I was getting half the workout I would get from a 4 mile run.

Hello everyone, I have been wanting to lose weight for a while now and thought I should get some input on how to go about it. I am about 6 foot 2 and 225 right now (broad frame and decent muscle mass,I used to lift weights regularly). I would like to lose 35 pounds. The quicker the better obviously. Any pointers on diet, specific exercises and workout intervals are appreciated.

If you like it and get results then that's awesome!

Yes it is! I love when i get into a cycle where working out is the a highlight in my day. Right now I have to force myself to have a rest day every 10 days or so.

Tennis is a great workout (especially when you are just starting and don't have much control). I keep trying to get the people I know around here to play, but they don't seem as enthusiastic about it as me.

I've been good about going to the gym everyday since I joined, even if its just for cardio. I've been trying to focus more on my form as of late to get better results. I have a new part of my body sore everyday.

To start, find something u like and do it... Get some good cardio in, interval training is great, and find a diet u can live with. Diet is the hardest part imo.

Once you get established working out, you can get into classes, a program or lifting weights. Also finding a partner is a good idea.
