So I worked out only like twice in last 2 weeks due to being sick and this Monday I start feeling it mentally...  Almost felt like depression but not really... Not like myself.  So I worked out Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and I start feeling like myself again...  Very weird, can quiting lifting weight have such a negative effect on the body?

Endorphins man.  Better than drugs.

Serious questions. How often do you drink protein shakes?

I'm taking one after every workout which right now is 4-5 times a week. But I'm not trying to put on muscle mass, just trying to improve strength. Trying to cut about 20 pounds before the end of May by doing it the slow way with minimal dieting. Basically no sodas and limit carbs.

Not very often. I drink them if I'm too lazy to make something to eat. I get most of my protein from what I eat. Your body can only properly digest so much protein so I don't have any set times or anything like that.

Follow up question, what do your guys' meals typically look like? Do you eat the same thing everyday?
