My knee has been feeling great, went to a 3 hour movie, kid fell asleep on my it, knee started aching bad and I couldn't really move it.  Hurt all through the night. Only feels good when I'm standing and walking around. WTF.

Anyone ever done a juice cleanse. I'm debating it, but no way im paying that much money. Anyone know of a cleanse on a budget?

 

Yes, raw unprocessed fruits and vegetables do the same thing. But eat them, don't drink them. You will have to drink a lot of water to stay hydrated because typically you will be going to the bathroom much more often as your body adjusts.

We always screw around at work describing it makes it seem so much more dangerous than it is. I'll describe it as light parkour and scrambling around on equipment and pipes.

Anyways, me and another guy were jumping five foot gaps between pro tanks got to the end, slid down a 4" pipe like a fire pole, jumped a fence, Dukes of Hazard across the hood of the truck jumped into separate trucks and took off. A contractor asked the foreman what was going on. He told them we always fug around like that. The contractor still concerned asked what safety says about it. And the foreman says, well the blonde dude is our completions engineer and the guy behind him is in charge of safety.

Long story short, work out when you can

I have a bad case of turf toe. You'd be surprised how few workouts you can do when you have this injury.

I have a cold... Sneezing, runny nose, respiratory inflammation and etc. We had a soccer game today at 11am and I said fug it... I took Pseudoephedrine, Allegra and lots of Vitamin B and decided to go. Told my teammates I'm sick and will be strictly a back-up on the bench... 20 minutes in the game people get hurt and I'm forced to play for about 60 minutes... I was huffing and puffing while spring back and forward.After the game I felt like a total poo.... I have never felt so shitty before. I have a whole new respect for people that play sports with common cold.

I'll get this thread going again by letting everyone know I completed the full 26.2 mile Charlotte Marathon today.  I clocked a time of 4hrs 39mins.  The course is hilly as hell so I'm happy with my results.  Also as a side note I only trained for a half but said to hell with it and ran the full anyway. 

 

Now where's my beer!!

I'm in physical therapy for my knee. Now they think it might be slightly out of place causing it to inflame the bursa and hamstring.  I dont' feel like we are on track though. so frustrated.

 

 

Glad to see you're working on it... hope it starts feeling better.  Stuff like that sucks, esp when you're not seeing improvement.

 

 

 

I haven't posted in here in a while... just being lazy...  still hitting it pretty hard.  On a low rep/heavy weight stretch lately.

Still been going pretty much everyday...  

 

Gym has been exceptionally crowded lately... which is weird for this time of year.
