Jase is gonna be gettin' it on more regularly really soon...

My wife thinks I'm crazy for actually doing this.

Then she thought I was even crazier when I told her that I'm just gonna start bulking again right away after I reach my goal weight.

Her exact words were, "So you're going to give me abs, and then immediately take them away?"

Easy Eggplant recipe, it's in the oven a bit but your time cooking is very short.

Bake eggplant slices and zucchini cut long ways with a little cooking spray and salt and pepper for about 30-35 minutes at 400 degrees.

Place zucchini pieces on top of eggplant slices

Add a little of each ingredient to each eggplant slice:

marinara sauce (one with little sugar, and processed ingredients (not ragu)

1/4 cup shredded mozzarella

1/4 cup grated Parmesan

1/4 cup chopped fresh basil leaves

cherry tomato per egg plant slice

Put back in oven at 400 degrees F.

Bake 8 to 10 minutes, until cheese is bubbly.

Just to add to his post, here are ingredients that will make it under 300 calories per serving. The marinara has no added sugar or preservatives but is quite tasty, also, a substitute for pasta noodles with either the kelp noodles or Shiritaki noodles will cut carbs by as much as 75% and calories by at least half. Both noodles have same texture and very mild flavor. Meaning you won't taste any difference since all the flavor comes from eggplant , cheese, and sauce

Are you guys incorporating down time here and there? That has kept me fresh and not bored/burned out.

I rotate this intense cardio. One week twice a week and the other three days. 30 secs of intense cardio and 30 secs rest for 30 mins and done. Use 10-20 lbs dumbbells. Soccer 1 a week and walk for 3-4 miles on non cardio days. Will play soccer and hoops the same week on my off weeks. I could stand to do more chin ups. If I get back to high school soccer shape look out. Lol

Currently cutting and gave in today and had a 4 piece mcnugget no sauce. Not as terrible as I thought.

I usually don't use up all my calories for the day either. Keep it to around 1200 on non lifting days and 1600 on lifting days.

That's extremely low calories, man. What's your weight/height and what are you trying to get to?

Just short of 6 foot, 229bs. I'd like to be 205lbs by Christmas. I kept hitting plateaus when I was doing 1600 & 2000. Depending on how I feel I may bump up my calories and do more cardio. Don't want my body going into starvation mode. I went from 315lbs to 190lbs back in 2010. But since then I put on muscle and some unwanted fat. Just got lazy and stopped doing cardio.

Nice job, man. I don't want to tell you how to diet then, bc you obviously have done it before and know your body better. I'm just just wary of people say they're eating really low calories because usually they kill their metabolism and then they don't understand why they aren't losing weight.

Mixing up my routine last week worked pretty well. Down 3.5 lbs last week and finally broke into the 230's. It's been five+ years since the scale said 230 anything.

Celebrated with my first real splurge since I started this, a Cookout Milkshake. Now time to have another good week!

Gonna try and avoid eating out for lunch this week. We'll see what results I get with that plan.
