Her desired body type will involve me losing 10 pounds.  I might can do this in a month or a little longer.

I'd like her to lose 35-40 pounds, this will likely take her about 6 months if she stays committed.  She's working toward it.

My finish line is a lot closer.

My wife lost ~30 lbs last year and has kept it off....  her motivation was a family picture at an event for my son.  I said nothing to her about it... save one time when she directly asked me.  I was honest with her, mainly about her eating habits (which were atrocious) and told her that we're 40+ now, you can't eat like a 25 year old, never exercise, and expect to keep the same body.

She did weight watchers and was borderline obsessive about her diet and the weight came off in less than 3 months.  Then she discovered running and aerobics at the gym and she's kept it off.  At 5'4" she's hovered around 125 for the past year and she looks great.

It's a decision (as most of us in here know) that each person has to make for themselves.  If you're not personally motivated, it won't happen.

Yeah, I was sore yesterday after my squat-a-thon. It's ok though, cause you can seriously bounce a quarter off my ass.

Jealous! that's what I'm working towards, my ass is the last place I lose weight. When I started working out my abs and core were ridiculous looking after a couple of weeks, 3 years later and my ass is still not where I want it to be errr! But it's getting better.

Amazingly enough, it seems that I have finally transformed my core, ass, and legs all at the same time. I feel like everything is finally getting where I like it for once in my life.

I wonder if girls have the same problem as guys?

Fitting into pants and underwear means: waist, thighs, and ass. Pick two because you won't find anything to fit all three

Sometimes, yeah. I've always been pretty proportionate so I don't usually have that problem. Sometimes the ass pushes you out of a certain size that you need for your waist though.

Sometimes yeah. My waste is a size 0-2 my thighs are 2-4 depending on brand. Add in that I'm 5'9" and it gets difficult sometimes.

My husband has a hard time with shirts.
