Most women I know don't lift heavy enough weight in order to build strength. Which is what I think you're after. Last week at the gym I saw 2 girls doing seated cable rows. They were doing 15 lbs for like 10 reps and only 3 sets. I asked them to try 60 lbs and they got 10 reps easily. Why would you waste your time doing something that will not provide any benefit?

I haven't had the twitchies in a while... they seem to come and go.  It can be quite irritating.

I'm actually taking a day off because my oldest has a school awards presentation tonight...  :(

Killed chest yesterday tho so...

Thanks for the advice everyone! I'll keep trying. I do dips and flys on the reg. I will try those push ups and see what I can do. I won't stop until I can do the big boy ones!

The way I started doing moves that I couldn't perform initially (chin ups come to mind) is to cheat on the way up and slowly lower myself down with good form.

So for a pull up, I would use a chair or get a jumping start to get to the top of the movement, then slowly lower myself down.

For push ups, similarly you could push up from your knees to get up to the top of the movement, then lift your knees up and slowly lower yourself down.

So as I said before I usually cut for the summer. Does anyone here take BCAA's? I'm thinking about giving them a try, can't hurt right?

I didn't notice anything when I took them.

You're right, can't hurt though.

From what I've read, taking BCAA's is very helpful for those on a caloric deficit who are trying to cut but not lose muscle mass.

Yah that's pretty much what I've gathered as well. I eat a normal amount but I started running alot again because nothing helps me cut more and immediately I start to lose muscle. I'm hoping this lets me keep my "pump" while doing cardio daily.
