I got LASIK surgery on my eyes earlier this week and can't be in the gym lifting intensely for a good week or so. Been trying to just keep eating clean during the time off but I find it more difficult to eat well on days when I don't work out.

How'd the LASIK go? I've been wanting to get it for quite some time, do they just recommend. Week off of heavy lifting?

And yeah, I think the only way my forearm will get better is if I strengthen it. It's pretty painful and annoying during some back and bicep exercises. Don't get a whole lot with triceps.

The procedure went really well! Took about 10 minutes or so on each eye and now I just have to keep up with the medicated eye-drop regimen. I went from 20/150 prior to surgery to 20/15 the day after and my doctor believes it will only get better as my eyes heal completely.

My doctor just said no physical activities for a few days and then I can ease my way back into the gym but advised I stay away from heavy lifting. He said it may just be best to hop on a treadmill and run slower than usual or walk while being careful not to wipe sweat from or rub my eyes in the gym. He recommended doing about half the weight I usually do on all my lifts just so pressure on my eyes and head isn't very high.
