Today I ran 4 miles non-stop on 8 on the treadmill.  I'm usually good for about 2.5 and sometimes 3 miles, but today I was feeling exceptionally depressed.  I knew the second I got off that treadmill that I'd have to go back to the real world so I just kept going, until I realized I was crossing over 4 miles.  I was exhausted and sore, and as soon as I stepped off I thought I might throw up and then die.  But I was so proud of myself that I forgot what I was even depressed about for a few minutes.  The high lasted all day!

8 mph is hauling.  About 6.8 is the fastest I'll do for any long distances.

Outside

Hmmm... Joscott and I have both battled this a good bit lately...

His prevailing theory is that your biceps and triceps get stronger quicker than your forearm muscles do and thus your forearm muscles have to work harder to keep up.

It's essentially a form of either tendonitis or muscle strain.

Make sure when you do those that your wrists are "square" to your forearms so you're not pulling too much with your forearm muscles.

Otherwise like Jase said, find something that doesn't bother them as much.

triceps are easily my best-looking body part and I only do dumbbell pullovers and cable pullovers for isolation movements.  Easy on the forearms, easy on the elbows, crazy soreness the next day.

Here's the cable variety http://exrx.net/WeightExercises/Triceps/CBForwardTricepsExt.html

The dumbbell looks like a combination of this http://exrx.net/WeightExercises/Triceps/DBLyingTriExt.html and this

http://exrx.net/WeightExercises/PectoralSternal/DBPullover.html with the goal being to stretch the tricep out as much as possible at the bottom of the movement.

My go to exercise for tricep soreness is skull crushers.

I get a serious stretch on those.

I like rope and V bar tricep press downs, I've had a lot of forearm issues and those don't bother me.
