Didn't go for gold on deadlifts today but my brother pointed out some flaws in my technique that I am happy to know of now instead of later before I hurt myself.

 

To summarize two things I tend to do.

 

1. I keep my ass low to the ground but not necessarily "out". This makes my lower back curl and keeps it out of proper form.

 

2. I have the tendency to explode off a deadlift instead of simply rising. I jerk off the gound(lol).

 

Anyway it was still a good workout and it was nice to hit the gym with my brother. I was still getting 295 with like 90% effort so I felt good about it.

looks like i'm done for a few weeks at least. doctor's orders.

 

What's wrong? If my doc told me to stay out of the gym for a few weeks, I'd find a new doc.

I ran 7.2 miles this weekend and it didn't hurt. It was really the best running I've done so far. I just started 3 months ago.
