Generally... there are some exceptions of course.

Honestly my traps never really get sore either on shoulder day or deadlift day?

Depending on how hard I go, mine will get sore.  Probably a sign I need more trap work anyway.

Sorry babe, no cardio, so I'm gonna try this in a 4 day split.

Going to a 4 day split, I need to expand what I'm doing chest-wise as well.

-Barbell/dumbbell press

- flies

-??

Talking about not feeling it in the shoulders after working them out or the next day - it's a pain in the ass.  Most men who do any type of physical work in their lives on a routine basis have dense and strong muscle in their shoulders that recovers quickly and becomes very hard to improve size/mass vs. the rest of the body.  They become like the calves and forearms - which is why I do a routine every so often which puts me doing them 3 times a week, very heavy and very few reps at only 2 - maybe 3 - sets.

It does a lot.  I can post the workout if you'd like but am feeling lazy and got stuff to do.  Plus, you're Panthers fans so you're probably not worthy :D

I do chest day two ways...   bench press and non bench press.

Bench press day, I usually start on the bench and do five sets up...  135, 185, 225, 245, 275 then at least two back down, 225 and 185 as many as I can.  Then I'll go on to some sort of incline, either dumbbells or machine, incline barbell kills my shoulders. Then I'll do pec-deck, dumbbell flies, cable flies, decline barbell or some combination of those and I usually end with supersets of crunches and push-ups.

Non bench day I just start with usually incline dumbbell presses which I also pyramid up and then down, flat dumbbell presses or maybe smith machine declines, then on to flies or the pec-deck.

Essentially I try and switch up the order every other time and I don't always do flat bench barbell presses.

Other chest stuff... close grip bench, plate presses... take a plate, lay down and it's like a close grip press essentially...

When I run out of ideas, I check here...

add the clock push ups with a plate on your back and you will really help get everything working unilaterally and improve overall function.

I started adding a Brazilian butt workout back into my weekly workout schedule. I forgot how much it hurts and how quickly you see results.

If any girl reads this thread I highly recommend that workout. Even just the one called high and tight. The instructor is annoying but the moves get it done.

Deadlifted  300 lbs today. Fug yes I finally fugging did it. This had been a goal of mine for while now. Lifted it like a champ and was able to hold it for a couple seconds.

I cut down the reps and saved the mixed grip for 255 and up. Put in about 20 mins of jump rope after that and walked my ass back to 8 mile.
