I picked up one of these gps watches last weekend.  Finally got out for a run yesterday and had my longest run to date of 5 miles.  Holy crap my speed suffered big time.  There is a big difference running outdoors compared to a treadmill.

So, pistol squat is in the books as something I can do.  Dragon Lifts, check.  Hand stand, done.

Human Flag here I come.

I keep seeing "the tire" mentioned.  I am not sure which size ya'll talk about but if you mean a simple 14.6 tire then I am confused?  Those are not bad at all.

The dumptruck tires are different, though.

the tire i use is over 4 ft in diameter and as best i can guess, weighs about 650 lbs.   i'll go take a measurement and edit.

i always preferred trail running to asphalt.   asphalt really wears you down with the impact.

the closest i can find

We have one similar.  It is 6' to the best guess.  I flipped it a few times to see what it was like.  I never had.  Didn't seem that appealing to me, as it was rather easy.  Not trying to sound pompous or arrogant, just saying it didn't do much for me and spending 20 minutes doing it to feel the burn - I'd rather do something else.

i agree.  but i haven't done a whole lot of full body workouts, so once a week, or so often just to make everything function as one large muscle

mine is radial too, i think that adds a lot of extra weight.  i dunno if i could flip a 6' tire or not.   might actually make it easier, depending on what it weighs

if i can push out 20 reps on anything, i'm bored with it

You know what a trainer at the gym told me... many here might get a kick out of it.  They said I was doing great at my workouts, doing the right things but I should add the donkey kick glute thing that a lot of chicks do so I can watch their ass.  Which, honestly, I know that is the only reason they do it, just for me.  To look at their ass.

Anyway.  I was like, hmm...  Explain?  The trainer, who is actually one of the better I've ever met, was rather logical saying that since I do not work out the individual glute at any point in my workout it could be lacking in strength overall and reduce my functionality since I train for usage and athleticism which helps in my field.

I took him up on it.  I ended up starting with half a stack and didn't really have a problem. 3/4, no problem.  I went up to the whole stack, something like 210 lbs.  No problem.  I then went and found every one of those add on plates you can get, each one like 10 lbs.  I found 9.

I have no idea if it is actually 300 lbs. or not, I have no idea how those machines work but it was still boring as hell.  I did 20 each leg on 3 sets before I got bored.  I didn't see going beyond 20 or doing another set because it didn't do much.

Sure, though, the next day I could tell I worked out my glutes more but I don't know if it is worth it.  The trainer didn't believe me, either.

Ok, what is a pistol squat? Is this something I can do?

Back at it again. Missed workouts due to going out of town and then being sick for two weeks. I am weak as poo and am thinking to sticking to a basic starting strength routine for about 6 months. I know I won't get much hypertrophy but I have no strength whatsoever it's freaking embarrassing.
