Alright, week 1 of T25 is in the books.  I weighed in this morning at 155.8.  Couldn't believe my eyes, so, I weighed myself again:  155.8.  Again:  157.  Again: 156.  I just took the average of 156.  Around the start of the week I was around 161.  I find it hard to believe that I've lost that much weight so fast.  Lesson:  I need a new scale.

I'm probably going to up my protein intake drastically.  There is no way I can gain muscle mass on my current T25 diet of ~1600/day.

Anybody ever taken AminoX?

I did the whole stack a few years ago with nitrix and no xplode. It was a bitch planning everything to a t. Had to eat at exact times take supplements at exact times. That was when I got big as fug. I don't recall having any soreness issues but I was also 25 years old.

Had a splurge night last night.

Rooster's:

  • 2 scotches
  • 1/2 Cheese plate
  • 1/2 ham plate

Aria's:

  • 1 scotch
  • 1/2 mussels w/ bread
  • 1/2 pizza
  • espresso
  • port wine
  • 1/2 tiramisu

Cutter's:

  • 1 scotch

The Wine Cellar:

  • 1 red wine

Waffle House:

  • Sausage & Egg Texas Melt w/ extra sausage and egg
  • Few bites of hash browns

Haven't done that in a while--like 4 or 5 months.  I'm 26 and sat beside a drunk ass 21 y/o at WH last night.  Man, did I feel old.

Anyway, off to brunch and then doing some T25 Stretch and then headed to the gym.

I did something this weekend that I normally don't do, drink beer.

I could feel my gainz being lost and I felt sorer from my workout on saturday than usual.

I substituted a high row into my workout for t-bar rows and it was amazing.

You have to have one of these machines.  It hits your traps, lats and delts pretty evenly. I can do a set with 230 pounds loaded up on it, so I bet you could do twice that.

OK yeah... we have a somewhat similar machine, but the handles are lower and I don't like it that much bc you have to pull "down" or really straight back to about kidney level and I feel it in my arms as much as my back...

I would like that machine in the video... we don't have one like that.

We have a separate machine I use sometimes that pulls from about knee level (when sitting) "up" and works mainly your traps.

Ok, so Biscuit and Jase have been so kind as to correct my squatting form, and I must say that they are right! I could feel it working better and targeting the area more effectively. You guys should be trainers...

Has anyone ever done Foam Fest? I'm thinking about doing it but I'm not really sure what I'd be getting myself into.

Never heard of that one, looks pretty crazy. The atmosphere is always fun at those types of things, I volunteered at the Color Me Rad in Wilmington last year, and the runners looked like they had a blast, so much so that I wished I had ran it (even though I hate running).

I'm sure you'd have a good time, I'd probably find some way to injure myself.
