Huddle Workout Warriors

Well it appears that enough people complained and the grunter was asked to tone it back and he flipped out. He threatened a few people, threatened to hire a lawyer and call the cops. I don't think he will be back. Anyways, hitting Jacob's ladder once a week for a cardio day than walking at a brisk pace up hill while my heart stops trying to explode. It is an efficient cardio workout.

I hate people who over do it with the grunting. Also hate anyone who slams the weights on machines down. I understand dropping heavy free weights on occasion put letting go on the lat pull down bar annoys the fug outta me.

no joke...

Respect the equipment, keep costs down.

But if the gym has bumper plates (ground up tires in standard weights/sizes) it's on. I'm slamming the hell out of it

Slamming the weights on cables or machines is probably my number 1 pet peeve at the gym, right up there with the idiots that walk around like their lats are 10x bigger than they actually are.

I did 132 push ups today. The goal is 100 consecutive. New app on ipad and should be completed in two weeks.

I do 200, 3 days a week for a total of 600. I do them in increments of 20, though. Don't want to risk re injuring my right shoulder. It's a great chest exercise. People place too much emphasis on the bench press. Nothing wrong with the bench, really. Just saying people underestimate the power of the push up.

I'm also doing a similar program for sit ups.  Great thing about these exercises is you can do them anywhere.  No more didn't have time to get to the gym excuses.

Doing 100 pushups in a row is no joke.

Most I've been able to get is like 48... the burn gets to me.

I usually do 5 sets of 20 supersetted with some abs at the end of chest day.

You also have to have a fairly strong core to do that many in a row. I definitely can't do that many at once.
