Lunch today:

 

  • 4 egg whites, scrambled and seasoned with simple fresh ground pepper, kosher salt, and red pepper flakes for a little spice.  I also threw in some left over frozen box spinach at the last second.  
  • Cup of Greek Yogurt Vanilla Blend w/ 2 handfuls of blueberries.

This was post-workout [cardio], so I'll probably have a banana as a snack here in a little.

 

No gym today and no protein supplements.

 

I haven't hit that wall, but I came close to not getting my cardio in today, that's why I decided to stop work and go ahead and get through it.

Yep you're right... now that I've gotten into it I'm hooked...

 

410 x 4 then 460 x 1 yesterday on the DL.  Might try 500 next time.  The 460 wasn't that bad... the first 8" off the floor is hard but after that, it came right up easy peasy.

Holy moly our gym is crowded as fug right now...  stupid New Year's resolutioners...  

 

Most of ours this year seem to be the young guy douchebag types too...

 

 

On a good/sore note, Joscott and I KILLED legs on Sunday.  Mine are still hurting bad.

 

 

I really haven't noticed a large increase in crowd at Planet Fatness since the new year began.

 

Maybe because I usually go around 4pm and beat the crowd.

I been trying to leave here a little early, but it doesn't help much...  I'm hoping they'll all lose interest soon, but it'll probably be into Feb before that starts to happen.

I keep going later in the day. It is getting too crowded. I was doing cable work for my chest and a older, tubby woman came up to me, my music blasting in my ears mind you, and just starts talking to me from about two feet away. I stop, take my ear buds out, and she says, "Oh, just trying to see what this machine does." Haha. She then stayed, watching me with Twinkie-like intensity finish the rest of my reps. It was funny as hell.

Ha, yeah.

 

My god yesterday was worse than Monday.  I've never seen so many people in our gym.  I passed Joscott around 7 as I was leaving and he was coming in and it was still crazy.

 

The other issue is that the majority of the new people are young (16-24) douchebag types. Also, deodorant must no longer be popular with that age group.
