Question About Buying Single Game Tickets

I've been looking at going to a couple games this year. Last season Darius Butler was nice enough to give me some free tickets on twitter. They were in Row WC which is a wheel chair row. I loved the seats, they were easy to get to, easy to get drinks and a nice distance from the field. If I were to look for Row WC on Ticketmaster would I need to be disabled or do they not really care? I looked and it said I would need to request WC accessible seats, I just don't know how serious they take it.

It looks like Dallas is the hottest ticket this year. NFL Ticket Exchange has upper deck seats in the hundreds. I'm thinking about the Giants game because I love playing under the lights.

It seems to be an ethical problem more than anything... I personally wouldn't buy WC seats if I weren't disabled. It just takes away the opportunity for someone that is disabled to go to the game. After all I'd imagine there aren't many WC seats available in comparison to reg access seats. (then again what if a disabled person doesn't end up in that seat anyways, and someone else beats you to it)

If you're given free tickets, that's different, of course you take them.

I wouldnt do it... Just doesn't seem like the right thing to do if u ask me.

Personally, I would feel like a total douche for sitting in the wheel chair row if I weren't in a WHEEL CHAIR....but, to each his own.

I'm sure you can find good seats elsewhere. I wouldn't be able to enjoy the experience under those circumstances.

Yeah I thought about that but the row I was in last time had about 14 seats and only one couple was even old. No one actually had a wheelchair. Most of the people around me bought their tickets on the street or got them from players. I'm not sure how guilty I would feel because the tickets have been out for awhile. If some needy disabled person really wanted to go they would have bought them already. It's probably not worth the consternation. Was just really convenient for drink runs.

I'm thinking about getting a PSL next year but I'm not sure it's worth it. I can find a seat or two to almost every game without paying for the preseason. The PSL advantage would be the inside track for playoff tickets. Do you guys know of any other concrete benefits for being a PSL owner? I saw there's several things you can be randomly selected for but there is 62k psl owners.

I live in Wilmington, but if I was within fifty miles of Charlotte I would have a PSL. Even if it was a game I couldn't make, I could donate or sell the tickets. But as I live half way across the state, it is just not reasonable to think I could make even half of those home games. Usually the most I can get to each year is three games. But again, if I lived closer, I would for sure own one!

I agree. I sat in the handicapped seats and they are the best seats ever. I scanned all the seats I could and not a single handicapped person. In fact they were mostly empty at a game they was pretty packed otherwise. I haven't tried to get handicapped seats again but if a scalper on the street had some I buy them in a second. This is how I got them the first time.

Great seats but if you are not handicap I would stay away from the tickets. (unless they are free)

I own 4 of these WC psl's and I am not in wheelchair, I have a bad back and walking up steps is a burden for me, I also the same type for Indy Love them !

They are not exclusively handicap seating just accessible. I think i am buying season tickets in one of these rows and i wont feel bad. You can be damn sure that if someone in a wheel chair needs a seat Ill exchange tickets all day long.
