First Month of the Regular Season Crucial for the Panthers

You don't seem to understand that being 1-0 against all three of our Division rivals would put us on top of the NFC South from the get-go. Divisional Games are important.

Of course I do. I wasn't giving you poo, just saying.

There are a lot of variables with 12 games left. Especially injuries.

I think we'll go 3-1 or 2-2 over that stretch. Even if we went 1-3 though, I wouldn't be too concerned. We could still end up 4-2 in the division, given that the win is vs. Tampa, and with 10 wins if we go 9-3 after the first 4 games, which is not inconceivable.

We'll beat the Bucs. If we lose to the Giants, no biggie. But we need to win one of the

games against the taints or the falcs. Winning our division should be our first goal.

Starting week 5 with a 1and 2 record in our division is not a season killer, but starting

2 and 1 or 3 and 0 gives this team the confidence it sorely needs.

This would give a us a great head start in the division. That's the first step in getting a playoff bid. If you can't pull this off then your chances are incredibly small.
