There's a lot of great writers on there, recognized and rewarded for it. They get to do the better things that are assigned by the guys who own the site. That site gets as many hits as Sports Illustrated online. That's a testament to the good writers, and the good content.

But for many years when someone would send me a Bleacher Report article that would be headlined as "ZOMG! Should Ravens trade Ray Lewis and Joe Flacco for Peyton Manning? Why it works..." I would never even open it. It would half the time just be a guy speculating on a trade that got accepted on his Madden team.

Recently, they've made you back up your opinions with concrete basis, which is good. But this one slipped through the cracks. I mean... no one with half a brain who watched Newton at Auburn would say this. Before he was even selected to Carolina or was slated as the #1 pick I saw this kid and said to myself that we have something very special here.
