lol we're so fuged when Cam's contract is up if we re-sign stew. We have to move on, Hurney/JR made the dumb mistake by giving dwill that contract so they'll have to reap the consequences.

I would try to sell J Stew on the idea that 5 years at $6 million per is better than 3 years at $7.5 million per, pointing out that he will likely enjoy a longer career here splitting carries.

Splitting with Williams, Tolbert, and Cam....isn't really attractive for a lot of RBs. Stewart also is a WC kid. Williams is here cuz we paid him....Tolbert wanted to move home....why does Stewart want to stay if a contender will pay?

I don't know what Stew's priorities are. If he wants to maximize his earnings, then talking about career length is logical.

But you (CRA) may be right that he wants to rack up big yards as the guy and/or play on the West Coast.

I don't believe he's talked a lot about his motivations so it's hard to know how signable he is.

It is a misconception that DWill's and CJ's contracts are front-loaded.

It just isn't true.

We already have cap issues for next year. Look for a restructure or big move for Jordan Gross next off season.

Stew is a tight lipped type of guy. I am sure very few people know his goals and agenda. But if he wants to remain a Panther, there is every posibility that he will.

Sometimes your team is out of balance. One side is better than the other. Most teams have this problem. You go about your busines and do your best to fix the weak link. The Panthers prefer to build through the draft. So trading Stew is probably not in the cards either.

I know the D is our achilles heel. Most people know. It is an ongoing process, that many see as vastly improved. I would say be patient, but I know that is a waste of time for some of you. You can only add so many pieces per year.

We have to learn to win with this team. As we grow and improve, the winning will come in bunches.
